I just want to say that you are by far one of the best photographers that I have worked with. I feel that you take pride in your work and that you have a talent in photography; as well as making someone feel comfortable. Your very fun to work with. Hey Dani... I just moved out to NYC and saw a casting agent who teaches a class on marketability in the industry and part of the class is a group headshot review. There were probably about 80 people in the room and we went through each person's headshot, compared them to the person standing there and voted as a group whether or not the headshot was an honest portrayal of that person. Jeff Mitchell, one of the casting directors, asked who took my photo and I proudly shouted "Dani Werner in Minneapolis." He said that this was the first time he'd liked a photo taken by someone outside of New York City (one of the other guys in the class had his picture taken by "some guy out on Long Island" and Jeff went on a tirade about "if they're not in the city it's a waste of time and money"). There was a "Honest" pile and a "Dishonest" pile and my headshot made the All Stars pile, one of only 3 out of the 80 or so headshots. It's so rare for us to get evaluated on the tools we use in the business. Usually it boils down to whether we booked the job or not. So I just thought you'd like to hear some unsolicited praise for your work. I just wanted to drop you an email and let you know how much I enjoyed the photo session last May and how pleased I am with the results. I had a meeting with an agent last week and she looked over the photos for over a half an hour! She said that, "there are so many great choices it's hard to pick just one or two." She also told me that it was the hardest decision that she had to make all week. =) Wow, there are soooo many beautiful photographs to chose from and that's why it's taken me so long to get back to you. I was determined to narrow it down to two but I give up! I showed them to quite a number of people for advice and everyone marveled at your work. Thank you so much for helping get the Me out of me! THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are wonderful; I can't praise you enough. The pictures are beautiful, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the speed. Thank you! :) I just wanted to write and tell you how much I enjoyed working with you on Friday. You put me very much at ease and made me feel very comfortable and safe in the hands of a fellow artist!. Thank you for your wonderful work and I look forward to seeing where our journeys take us both. Thanks so much for your great work. So professional and I love your work. You made me feel very comfortable. Because of you, hopefully I will be looking through some new and exciting “windows of opportunity” .
